The combi row-crop injector is a combi-machine that applies fertilizer and hoes the maize field in one pass. The machine applies the liquid manure to both sides of the row. The rotary hoe, which is located directly behind the manure outlet, then mixes the slurry with the soil. The mixing of soil with manure ensures that any scorching of the maize plant by highly concentrated fertilizer is avoided. This machine is therefore able to give a subsequent application of slurry to the growing maize plant, thus giving it an extra growth boost. A unique feature of this machine is that it also does an excellent job in fields with extremely high weed densities.
